Consulting: Groups/Teams
A group or a team might choose to work with Leadership Catalysts for one or more of the following reasons:
- The group structure is not clear and members of the group cannot agree on what the structure should be;
- The team is having difficulty defining goals and performance measures for members of the team;
- Roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined; the team doesn’t know where to start defining those roles;
- The group is working well, but team members have a desire to be high performing, not just average.
These and many other reasons might cause a group to engage with Leadership Catalysts.
First, Leadership Catalysts assesses where the team is and then we get to know the individual members and find out what their goals are. The next step is to help the group define what direction it would like to take. Our work is collaborative and organic, growing out of the desires of the group and the partnership with Leadership Catalysts. We do not impose a pre-designed structure on any group or team. An engagement with Leadership Catalysts might last a month, three months or a year, depending on the needs of the group. The length of the engagement is decided by both the consultant and the group at the time of assessment. This may be in person or by telephone.
